Hi I'm Diaz. I like to read, play games, watch movies/anime and Doctor Who, play softball and do some cooking and gardening. I also like to draw and play the piano.

New StorySection! I now have a brand new story section where you can read a story that i am writing and try to guess what happens next.

Sonic and the Secret Rings

In this game, a genie named Shahra guides Sonic into a storybook about the Arabian Nights because the pages of the stories and the world within are slowly disappearing because of an evil entity named the Erazor Djinn and without Sonic, the stories of the Arabian Nights will be lost forever and forgotten along with all the characters in them.  When Sonic gets shot with a fire arrow by the Erazor Djinn, he has limited time to find the 7 Secret Rings and stop the Erazor before the fire arrow gets to its full power and Sonic dies.
The graphics are amazing, especially in the cut- scenes, but it can get a little hard to control Sonic when you run through the levels because Sonic runs on his own and you can only control the direction he`s running in. the music isn`t too bad but it has changed a lot. Most of the songs are Rock and Roll. I miss the old songs that make you want to play that game every time you hear the song. Is this really what Sonic has turned into?
Well, it isn’t as good as the classic Sonic games, but it is still pretty good and if the games are as good as this or better, I will always be a Sonic fan.

Sonic and the Black Knight

In this game, Sonic finds himself in a strange, medieval world and has to help fight King Arthur while wielding a talking sword named Caliburn who trains him to fight like a knight. He also has the help of a wizard named Merlina and the Lady of the Lake, Nimue, who plays a big role in training Sonic using cunning disguises and telling him what he needs to be a true knight and not a knave. There are a few things about this game though that aren’t that nice about this game like the fact that Sonic has never used a sword in any other game. What has happened to the homing, hyper Sonic that we know and love? In the place of that is a slow Sonic that can’t get along with his own sword and cannot affect enemies by using a homing attack. He can only slash through enemies like King Arthur’s 3 knights (don’t ask what happened to the others).  Another problem is that especially when playing on the Wii, attacking or defending with the sword can be tough because of the late reaction of each swing. If you’re in a boss battle and you just attacked but have to block  soon after, by the time it works, you’ve lost your rings or you find yourself dead and back  at the beginning of the level and after a few times of doing that, believe me, it gets annoying. Yet another thing is that you have to fight the boss (King Arthur) on like 10 different levels and believe me, eventually, you’ll get pretty fed up. There are some good things about this game too like the amazing graphics and storyline.  Most of the time, the jokes are funny and would probably make sense to most people. Most of the missions go along with the storyline even though some are quite random. Most of the storyline gets explained. The music is really good most of the time. It really shows what it would be like trying to be a knight.  Well, at least Sonic Team and Sega know what not to do now.

Sonic Colors

In this game, you’ll visit many different worlds and travel at new speeds with the help of your new friends, the wisps. I really like this game because it’s a little different from most other Sonic games but it still has the main “Sonic” idea. You zoom through different worlds while finding old friends and new ones too. Sonic and his friends have been toured around an interplanetary carnival made by Dr. Eggman and even though it doesn’t seem like something that is typically done by an evil doctor, Sonic has his suspicions. Will his suspicions be true that Dr. Eggman is up to no good?
The music is amazing, from the title screen to the boss battle. The game play is smooth, no bumps there. The graphics were fit for the game and if you ask me, they couldn’t have done a better job with the graphics on an original DS game.
This was very impressive work by Sonic Team and Sega. I would really recommend that you try this game.
